Victoria Hristoff is an abstract painter, art therapist in training, and native New Yorker. She is currently a second year full time graduate student, pursuing her MPS in Art Therapy at the School of Visual Arts. Victoria received her BFA at SVA in Visual & Critical studies, with a focus on collaboration within the curatorial space. In addition to her academic work, Victoria maintains a studio practice and co-runs an independent curatorial project out of Brooklyn, NY. Her previous clinical work includes inpatient psychiatric care with adults at Kings County Hospital Center. There, Victoria witnessed first hand how art functions therapeutically within a larger treatment plan. Victoria is interested in the healing qualities of art making, and the unique ways individuals benefit from diverse processes. Victoria is excited to bring her skills to the Artistic Noise team. She hopes to support the young people in further understanding their powerful roles as artists.
