Victoria Hristoff

Director of Art Therapy and Youth Services

Victoria Hristoff is an abstract painter, art therapist, and native New Yorker. She completed her MPS in Art Therapy and her BFA in Visual & Critical studies with a focus on collaboration within the curatorial space at the School of Visual Arts. Victoria’s art therapy practice prioritizes lived experience within a trauma informed lens. She has a background working with adolescents in the community, justice system, and foster care system. In addition to her clinical work, Victoria maintains a studio practice and co-runs an independent curatorial project out of Brooklyn, NY. Her previous clinical work includes inpatient psychiatric care with adults at Kings County Hospital Center. There, Victoria witnessed first hand how art functions therapeutically within a larger treatment plan. Victoria is interested in the healing qualities of art making, and the unique ways individuals benefit from diverse processes. Victoria is excited to bring her skills to the Artistic Noise team. She hopes to support the young people in further understanding their powerful roles as artists.
