Art Therapy Intern

Sabrina La Mell is from the Chicagoland area and moved to New York City at 18 to attend Parsons School of Design. She received her BFA in Illustration and enjoys doing traditional as well as digital art. A strong theme within her art is mindfulness and exploring the mind.

She has experience working with children ages Pre-K to High School guest teaching, teaching in after school programs, S.T.E.A.M programs, and having her own art residencies teaching Visual Arts.

She deeply values the process of using art to connect individuals to their feelings and showing how art can heal. This is what caused her to attend the MPS Art Therapy program at the School of Visual Arts.

By interning at Artistic Noise, she is driven to learn more about the therapeutic process of using art to heal and engage with others. She looks forward to being surrounded by others with unique experiences and backgrounds who can teach new perspectives on art and what it can do.
