Lauren Brown

Alumni Artist in Residence

Lauren Brown is an artist based in the Bronx. She spends her days at home, where she comfortably indulges herself. She works mainly as a makeup artist and has an interest in faces and body structures. In her first cycle of the residency, she'd like to explore building skills in sci-fi makeup and creating masks. Using her many art skills to her advantage and as a visual, she seeks to tell a feature story through her practice.
