Kate Fowle
Initially trained as an artist, Kate Fowle is currently the Director of the Arts Program at The Hearthland Foundation and the board chair of the Center for Art and Advocacy, an organization she helped artist Jesse Krimes establish in 2023, which supports artists who have formerly been incarcerated. Previously, she was director of MoMA PS1 (New York) and held leadership roles at the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art (Moscow), Independent Curators International (New York), the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (Beijing) and California College of the Arts in San Francisco.
