Irann Barrera is an arts archivist and educator whose work centers on arts access, archival practice, and youth engagement. Irann holds a Bachelor’s degree from The New School, where she focused on Urban Studies and Visual Studies. Her interdisciplinary foundation in art and cultural studies strengthens her commitment to equitable access to creative resources and historically conscious programming. Through her work, Barrera brings a community-centered approach that bridges preservation, education, and contemporary artistic dialogue, ensuring that cultural spaces remain accessible, reflective, and responsive to the communities they serve.
