Director of Hannah Traore Gallery

Hannah Traore is the Founding Director of her eponymous gallery, situated in NYC's vibrant Lower East Side. As one of the city's youngest gallerists, she inaugurated the space at age 26. Born and raised in Toronto, Hannah received her BFA in Art History with honors from Skidmore College. In 2018 she become the year long curatorial Intern in the department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art. She went on to work and learn with curator Isolde Brielmaier until opening her own gallery in January of 2022.

Committed to advocating for and celebrating artists who have been historically excluded, the Hannah Traore Gallery exhibits artists from all around the world, selected based on their exceptional talent and distinctive voice. She has been acknowledged by Forbes 30 Under 30: Art & Style (2023), Apollo 40 Under 40 USA (2023), Creative Collective’s Creative Class Award (2024), LVMH Rising Leader Impact Award (2024), and serves on the Board of Trustees at her Alma Mater, Skidmore College.
