Stephen Trask works as a Product Analyst for Google Maps. He uses data to understand how people use Maps, and informs the decisions made by Google’s product, engineering, UX and marketing teams. Outside of his core role, he has a longstanding commitment to supporting nonprofit and mission-driven organizations, serving as a Google.org ambassador, and organizer for the company’s annual Giving Week and Google Serve campaigns.
He graduated with a BA in Economics and History from Amherst College, where he focused on American urban history and participated in the Inside-Out exchange program between the college and Hampshire County Jail.
On the Artistic Noise board, Steve brings a focus to the organization’s use of data and technology, as well as its approach to partners and supporters in the corporate world.
He’s been a Brooklyn resident since 2011, and currently lives with his partner in Clinton Hill
