Major Gifts Officer, Studio Museum of Harlem
Joshua Bell currently serves as the Senior Major Gifts Officer at The Studio Museum in Harlem, where he has worked for the past two and a half years. In this role, he oversees major gifts, art acquisitions, board relations, and the museum’s traveling patron group. He is a resident of East Harlem where he has lived for the past five years. He is involved in several other arts organizations, notably the Marcus Garvey Park Alliance, where he serves as Secretary of the Board. Prior to moving to New York, Josh lived in Philadelphia where he received his BA in English and French literature, with a minor in art history. He continued his studies at New York University’s Institute of Fine Arts, where he received an MA in art history. He is an avid traveler and also plays and coaches in an LGBT volleyball league.
