Give $18 to Celebrate 18 Years of Artistic Noise!
April is a very exciting month for Artistic Noise. Eighteen years ago, Lauren Adelman, Francine Sherman, and Minotte Romulus founded Artistic Noise in Boston with a simple, yet profound idea.... use the power of art to affect change in the criminal justice system. Since then, the organization has seen profound growth and expanded to a second city. As the spring season gets underway and our current cohort of students finish their incredible work, we have a few events coming up that you will not want to miss.
If you didn't have an opportunity to see our students' incredible mural at the School of Visual Arts during our winter open studio, you still have one last chance to see their remarkable work now, before it ends. Join us on April 22 for our final open studio/community day at the School of Visual Arts (132 W. 21st Street, NY) from 4:00-7:00 pm on the 5th Floor.
We hope you will also join us for our annual birthday celebration on April 27 at the Historic Langston Hughes House in Harlem. There is no better way for us to celebrate our birthday than to reflect upon how much we have grown surrounded by our students and those who have made it all possible. Please consider making a contribution in support of Artistic Noise and joining us for lite bites and cocktails and the opportunity to meet some of our incredible students and alumni.
We remain thankful for your commitment to Artistic Noise throughout the years and hope you will help us celebrate our success this year at our reception. Regardless, please consider making a contribution of at least $18 this month in honor of our 18th anniversary.
